I m the organiser of an event based in the UK you might have heard of it the event is called Battle of the Nations (UK) and the next event is on the 27th to the 30th May 2016.
The event will be at The Hop Garden,Paddock Wood ,Kent,this site is about an hour to a hour and a half from the ferry ports Dover and Folkestone.
I am at present trying to get discounted ferry crossings from DFDS and P and O i will advise you all of any updates.
I am keen to get European units to attend unfortunately I cannot pay any expenses but we can supply fresh water,fire wood,gun powder there are some power hook ups available for caravans and there is facilities for plastic camping.
There are two bars which can take up to 700 people there will also be food traders booked by the site.
There is also twenty four hour security so the site is safe we are hoping to throw a ball on the Saturday evening.
We would like every unit on site by midday Friday the 26th and ready to assemble for Battalion Drill at 5pm for half an hour followed by an address of all re-enactors by me the event opens Saturday Morning at 9:30am and closes at 5pm and Sunday opens at 9:30 am and closes at half past four that leaves Monday (bank holiday) to break camp and make your way home.
Any further details you require please ask,permits for muskets will be required and we can supply the forms you need or you can contact the French Liason officers based in various countries ie Belgium,Holland and France one such person is Sean Van Hese and Malcolm Montanaro.

Už po trinásty raz sa v Bratislave na petržalskom brehu Dunaja odohrá pripomienka historickej udalosti, ktorá pred 207 rokmi počas Napoleonovho ťaženia tragicky zasiahla do životov vtedajších obyvateľov Bratislavy a priľahlej obce Engerau (Petržalka). IR No.2 pozýva kluby vojenskej histórie zúčastniť sa od 20. do 22. 5. 2016 na bojovej ukážke s vojenským táborom v Sade Janka Kráľa.

Aj tentoraz zaručujeme účastníkom príspevok na cestovné náklady, stravu, minerálky, toalety a parkovanie v blízkom obchodnom dome.
